Our last review of a Meo product did not go so well. There was misinformation about the type of material it was made of, so we kind of lost our trust in Meo. However, we did promise to review this stainless steel dildo so we will do it in our own style: a mini review & a disclaimer.
Mini Review:
The Meo Stainless Steel Deep Pleasure dildo is our very first metal material dildo. Having metal as the material means that it is heavier… and it is heavier in a good way. My favourite G-spot toy at the moment is the Fucking Sculptures Corkscrew which is made of solid glass. In no way am I surprised that I enjoy metal as a dildo material.
The solid material is exactly what I need for instant G-spot pleasure. I’m not saying it will work for you – but I am saying that it works for me, really really well. Solid is good.
Cold is also good. I’ve spoken before about temperature play and how much I enjoy inserting cold dildos. I hate winter but I love cold dildos – who knew?!
Stainless steel turns out to also be good. The heaviness of this dildo makes it a bit cumbersome to get used to, but I find that when I am already warmed up with another toy, this dildo can pretty instantly make me cum. It just weighs against my g-spot in its solid, heavy, cold glory and…. ummmmph… it works for me.
What I don’t like about the Deep Pleasure dildo is that there is no curve to it. This means I do have to angle it a bit awkwardly to get the right spot.
We also don’t currently have a use for the bumpy end of it. As ‘anal beginners’, both of us find the material to be too heavy to enjoy. The bumps are easy to insert and there is zero friction because of the metal material (+ lube). However, there is this whole other end of the dildo that weighs it down. If it was just the bumps on a plug, it might feel really great. But, neither one of us enjoys having to balance and worry about the super heavy other side.
In terms of lube, you really don’t need to use much with metal. Cleaning is also pretty simple too!
Disclaimer:
Not only did the misinformation about materials lose our trust in Meo, but there is another issues that pertains to their stainless steel metal collection. Their “Alpha Male 2 Stimulator“, “Alpha Male 3 Stimulator” and “Big Johnny Prostate Stimulator” seem to be exact replicas of the famous NJoy toys, except for like half the price.
Why is this an issue? For two reasons. First, it’s never cool to rip off anyone’s products – regardless if they are sex toys or not. Second, what was sacrificed in the material in order to make the price significantly cheaper? Stainless steel is NOT cheap and other stainless steel toys are expensive for a reason. This makes me question if the entire toy is made from stainless steel or what quality of stainless steel they are using. I would normally email the company to ask, but they told me they don’t care that TPR and silicone is different, so why would I trust anything that Meo says?
